5.9.2.1.13.  Additional export formats

Under Additional export formats, additional files (export formats) can be made available for export (e.g. Revit [RFA = Revit Family Tables], DXF with special tool layers).[32]

Additional files can be made available for the entire project, but also per line or value range value, by specifying a placeholder in the file name in the form $VARIABLENAME..

In the following you can find a description on how to create the needed entries.

  1. Store needed export files in project directory.

  2. Click on ... to open the corresponding dialog box. to open the corresponding dialog box.

  3. Add the desired export files by clicking on . With and you can edit and delete.

    • ID: The internally used file name (internal name) with which the file is named during export.

      Examples:

      satfile2016
      rfafile2016
      dwgfile_left_view
      etc.

    • Description: The display name in the export menu [Export] of the PARTdataManager (display name)

    • File name: Click on ... opens the Explorer in the project directory to select the desired file.

      Example:

      part.rfa

      or modified with variable

      part/%NAME..rfa

  4. Confirm with OK.

  5. Update index.

  6. Check the result in PARTdataManager.
