Call: Select an area (or several areas by holding down the Ctrl key) and click on the context menu command Area attributes.... [Face attributes...]
-> The Area attributes [Face attributes] docking window opens.
New selection: Areas can be selected/deselected at any time while the area attributes [Face attributes] docking window is active.
Adding new attributes: Select the desired area (or several with the Ctrl key held down) and click on .
-> The Add attribute dialog box opens.
Select the desired attribute and confirm with .
-> The corresponding dialog is displayed, see below.
Deleting attributes: Select the desired area (or several).
-> If attributes are available, they are displayed in the Area attributes [Face attributes] docking window.
Select the desired attribute and click on .
If a tree structure is displayed, please regard that deleting can only be performed on the level of parent elements.
Selection of a single area: If a selected area already contains attributes, these are displayed directly in the area attributes [Face attributes] docking window.
Multiple selection: This is carried out by holding down the Ctrl key.
All attributes found on any of the selected areas are then immediately displayed in the Area attributes [Face attributes] docking window.
Furthermore a tree structure with parent element and child elements is displayed. Now every child can be individually changed or via parent element all children together.
Attribute at component level in combination with area attribute
In PARTproject color [Color] and texture [Texture] can be set for the entire component.
These are also displayed in the PARTdesigner displayed. In addition, individual areas can be colored differently.
