7.23.1.2. Case 2 - Export 3D part to 2D CAD system

[Note]Note

The transfer of 3D components to a 2D CAD system requires a 2D deriv [2D derivation] ation beforehand. Without derivation, the 2D formats cannot be called up (gray)!

  1. Create the 2D derivation of the component (see Section 12.2, “ Create 2D derivation ”).

  2. Click on the Export to file [Export in file] menu item. -> The 2D file formats previously highlighted in gray are now also active.

  3. Select your CAD specific format and follow the steps under Section 7.23.1.1, “Case 1 - Export 3D part to 3D CAD system”.
